Rhiannon is totally heartbroken and just flat out confused when her boyfriend breaks up with her, but she is determined to get him back.
Just because love is second nature to Nicole, doesn’t mean her love life isn’t any more complicated. Her ex-boyfriend is very clear that he’s still interested and wants one more shot, but Nicole has a new crush of her own.
Finally, you have James, who is so hopelessly in love with Rhiannon that he can’t even see that their friendship could be so much more.
As if any of them needed more complications in their lives, the school’s mean girl has it out to destroy everybody’s life.
Rhiannon, Nicole, and James aren’t planning on letting her get away with this, but will taking a stand and taking down the mean girl really help these three friends get what they want?
This book is focused on what each of them is going through and their love lives. That’s what makes this book so relatable! You understand what all three of the main characters are going through and can put yourself in their shoes!
Educational Value: 3 out of 5 – This book was an amazing read, I just didn’t learn much from it. It’s definitely more of a free read than an educational one, but that shouldn’t discourage you from reading it! It talks about friendship, relationships, and daily drama that everyone can relate to, and it definitely shows you that you’re not the only teenager going through some tough stuff!
It’s also full of very meaningful quotes that make you stop and think. It’s more inspirational than educational!
Entertainment Value: 5 out of 5 – Take Me There had me hooked in the first few chapters just because of how sympathetic I was toward Rhiannon, who had just recently been dumped without any explanation. I’ve been in her shoes, and it’s no fun. This book was easy to relate to and kept me interested the whole time. There is something about all of these characters that just makes you feel like you know what they are going through! I’m truly impressed by Susane Colsanti! I look forward to enjoying many more of her pieces!
